Per4mr I expected the cape to be sheerer and more "delicate-looking." It's a heavier fabric than anticipated, and the butterfly pattern is much denser than the image shows (see the attached photo of the sleeve). It will be ok over a black dress or top or as a cover-up against a chill at a restaurant or such, but the image posted on Amazon is not an accurate depiction.
